My trauma-sensitive approach is perfect for those new to yoga! Often I hear that people want to try yoga, but are intimidated by the perfect forms, the sanskrit terms, and generally feeling like they don't know what's going on, can't keep up, or might get injured. Yoga has so many health and wellness benefits, I want to make it accessible to everyone! Start here, ask all your questions, and get comfortable beginning your yoga journey!

In this workshop, we will cover:

By the end of this workshop, you will know:

  • What equipment you need to do yoga safely at home or in a class

  • What other equipment is available, and when and how to use it

  • Four major types of yoga, and how they differ

  • How to avoid being injured

  • A short yoga flow you can do at home

  • How to do a sun salutation- including a variation for injury

  • 20+ yoga poses and even a few sanskrit terms!

Most of all, you will know that you can walk into any basic yoga class

and feel confident that you can do this!

Equipment will be provided- just wear comfortable clothes!
